Elizabeth, or as the brothers call her “Bitty”, is the only sister in this dog pile of boys. Professionally trained in culinary arts, Elizabeth brings some of the technical expertise to the food prepared at Freedom Farms and often works side by side with Mama Bear Lisa. Newly married to her husband, Cameron, Elizabeth may be a little more absent around the farm and Farmers Market these days while she begins thinking about starting her own family.
What is your role on the farm?
Retail Manager is my current position at Freedom Farms. As a sister and daughter, it really depends on the day!
How do you see that role changing or growing in the future?
I am enjoying my job at the Donut Shop now and hope to help it improve it as far as my eyes can see.
What is your favorite family memory?
There are too many to pick from.
What is your favorite memory from the show?
Scenes with the kids are usually my favorite, but most recently, Cameron and I taking dance lessons.
What do you enjoy about the family business?
I enjoy working with my family, and I believe in Freedom Farms. I don’t like to work blindly and though sometimes we do not work as methodically as possible, we have all worked very hard growing and maintaining the business. It takes a lot of heart.
What is something about you that viewers or customers might be surprised to learn?
I am a Pastry Chef, by trade. While in school, I qualified to compete in a national Food Network pastry competition with one other student and the School Dean. Our team came in fourth. It was a pretty awesome experience. I have it on VHS.
