Pete’s role in Freedom Farms is basically to be ready for any role given to him. While he primarily cares for the farm’s livestock and is a partner of Freedom Farms, he also works with his brothers as a field hand and is extremely fast at picking and harvesting crops. Pete also has a really easygoing and laid back attitude that makes him an approachable and natural salesman at the traveling farmer’s markets (and is often eye candy for the crowd).
What is your role on the farm?
I am a farmhand, which means I do a lot of everything. But my proper title is Livestock Manager.
How do you see that role changing or growing in the future?
One thing that I can always count on is change. I know my role will change. I hope to get what I do down to science so I can pass knowledge, inspire interest, and pass on the reigns. I will always be a farmhand.
What is your favorite family memory?
I couldn't pick a favorite family memory. There are just too many. Working, playing, brotherly mischief, and holidays with my family are all fond memories.
What is your favorite memory from the show?
I like doing silly things. So the Harlem shake video we made was a lot of fun.
What do you enjoy about the family business?
What is something about you that viewers or customers might be surprised to learn?
I was 10 lbs, 6 oz. and two feet tall when I was born. In high school, I wrestled in the 215lb. weight class and placed 8th in PA in 2006. My left dimple was man-made from bludgeoning by my brother during a heated backyard football game when I was twelve.
